Our staff are the core of our business. It’s their hard work and dedication that helps us to succeed and grow. That’s why we recently implemented an employee of the month scheme. Staff are encouraged to vote for the staff member they think is doing an amazing job. That person who goes above and beyond, doesn’t complain, happy to pick up extra shifts and it just plain awesome! The winner each month receives a $100 voucher for a restaurant of their choice.

Ethan is relatively new to our Good Local team but he’s been smashing it with his can-do attitude, desire to learn and interactions with customers. He’s been a great addition to our team and we feel he deserves to be recognised!

Kumar isn’t just smiling for the photo… he’s always this happy to be at work and pick up extra shifts where required. He’s not afraid of hard work and we like that work ethic! It’s great to have kitchen crew with passion.

Congrats to Jess our employee of the month. She helps keep the kitchen squeaky clean and has the ordering under control. Mark has referred to her as that “sucker fish” in the tank always cleaning up after others! 🐟
Her attitude towards her work has been great and she has also been helping out at Umami where required. Great work gal!
